Miss R loves her cake! And her baby doll…and her blocks! We spent the evening at Billy Dunlop Park and then finished up with a puppy dog cake in the studio. Hope you guys had fun…but I am looking forward to trying out my new camera with you on Friday! See you soon!

Isn’t Mrs Grace the cutest little Monkey you’ve ever seen? She brought along 3 more generations of mommies and we had a nice time. I can’t believe how much she’s grown since her first session 3 months ago! Thanks for coming to see me you guys. It was nice to meet all of you!

I probably should tell you that not all of my sessions are peaches and cream. Sometimes we just don’t get the greatest photos because well…hello…life is unpredictable. We all have those cranky days and when that happens, we just want a nap in a nice cozy bed. That being said…Mr G came back to me today for his 9mth photos and he had an AMAZING day! We did soo much better this time around and I loved all of his drooly little smiles! I hope momma loves the photos too! And thankyou soo much for coming back to give me a second shot!

I am such a Klutz!! I totally tripped off my front step and twisted my ankle in front of this family! Haha! How embarrassing! Anyways…onto the actual session. Baby A came in for her newborn’ish photos and we had some good times with the flag. This flag is special because it was flown over Iraq! I was soo excited to meet this little gal and it was enough to set my baby fever on fire! Hmm…guess what I’ll be doing for r&r ! Anyways…thanks for coming in you guys! Little Mrs. J came back to see me for her 1 yr photos! She’s having a carnival themed birthday party…so mom got her this adorable pink and green tutu! She was soo happy and gave me lots of smiles while we played outside! The cake smash on the other hand…well…you’ll see! Hehehe! Thanks for coming to see me again you guys! It was a pleasure as always!

Ok…I just had to!

My classes at the Academy of Art University are really making me look at myself and realize how much I want to improve myself and my craft. For our final assignment we were asked to write an artist’s statement and submit 9 images that represent our work. I decided that I definately needed some maternity’s amongst my images since I love doing them soo much! We brought along my studio lights just for fun and got some great images. Thanks for helping me Jaime! You ROCK!!! Oh…and ps…our goofy parasol ones actually look kind of cute. Hehehe!

You may have noticed that I usually title my blog posts based on how I feel about the session. Well for this one, I feel soo blessed to have such wonderful clients. The ones that come to me time and time again and pick me up out of that rut I’m in. The ones that I can consider friends. The ones that understand me and what I am about. The ones that know I am actually a human being with feelings too. Not just a business but me. Paige. I enjoyed seeing Mr. P for his 6 month session. But what I enjoyed the most was visiting with his mommy! She is such a cool lady! And I am soo glad we are able to talk on a more personal level. Thanks for coming to see me you two! And Mr. P…I am soo in love with your smile and all of your silly little faces! I know it helps to keep mommy happy!!!

How precious is this little lady with her daddy doll? And look at that tiny little tear . Melt my heart! I enjoyed seeing you guys back for your 18mth photos! I almost thought I wouldn’t see you again since you finished out your Baby Plan! But I was soo excited when I got the word you’d be coming back! Thankyou for putting up with the heat and allowing me to take you outside for something “differen’t”. I hope you enjoy your sneaks into our time this morning!

This little Cookie was a tough one! We spent the afternoon downtown and at Billy Dunlp Park. It was fun listening to her little frog noises and watching her swing. Another hot day, but we were threatened with rain. We were racing against the thunder clouds, but the rain never came. It would have been nice if they’d parted a litle to let some of the sun in. But we still managed to get some cute images. I hope you guys enjoyed your time with me. I will let you know when your gallery is ready!

I am soo pleased that these two allowed me to share a few of their images from our mini session event. Hopefully this will attract the “couples” crowd! And of course…nothing but tasteful and elegant. You can just feel the connection between them. Love it! This was fun, and I hope you guys loved the photos!
